We believe in the stewardship of the local area and we educate our customers to “LEAVE NO TRACE” when visiting Moab. We will NEVER advise you to take an illegal route. There are plenty of awesome trails in Moab that are completely legal and we want them to stay that way. We Never want any other user group (think ATV’s or Jeeps), to point at cyclists and say, “They go off trail so why can’t we”? Click on this link for more information.
Moab trails are made up of various media including our famous Slick rock, sand, rocks and packed dirt. There are no areas in Moab where you are allowed to go off trail. If you leave the trail you are likely to find yourself pushin’ your bike through ankle deep sand. Each of your steps is likely to leave an irreversible imprint. The collective impact of your steps, tire tracks, and those of all the other users will last forever and contribute to the transformation of the rich ecosystem into nothing but blow sand.
